Alice , pompey, UK
There has been a radio article over the weekend about the UK government stoppign the 4 year ancestral visa for commonwealth countries. And some people wonder why Oz and NZ want to become a republic!! NZ has been treated badly by the UK over the years but this takes the biscuit. Its funny how we're very handy when there's a war on! No wonder I came over here to live years ago. Still, I guess with questions like this why would any intelligent Kiwi want to live and work there. England is a farce. It pretends to be multi cultural but its not.
Carole Cole, Wellington, New Zealand
I scored a 13. And I'm a US citizen. A lot of what I'm learning in the UK now helped me with answering. *Shrugs*
Liz, London,
I didnt do that good on the test.......only scoed 9. I agree with Stuart Brown, that the questions arent really relevant.
Also if these are the questions that will be asked, is this not a bad idea to make them public.......because we know the answers now. Im sure they will get back to those sitting the exam, one way or the other......just a thoought
Ms Rihela Nazir, Birmingham, UK
This is hardly a quiz on the culture and history of the UK, which one would have thought it should be.
I hardly think that anyone who doesn't know how many independent schools there are in the UK should be deported back to their own country.
Secondly, if the questions are so freely available its not hard to imagine that anyone taking the test would have revised prior to undertaking.
Which makes the whole thing a waste of time really.
Stuart Brown, Kendal,
I scored a miserable 9. Definitely not really relevant questions, most of them. There should be questions like:
1. what proportion of the cost of petrol, cigarettes, and alcohol is tax?
2. How many days of paid holiday do MPs get each year?
3. How many labour MPs are reliant on the state education system or the state health system?
4. What methods can be used to introduce European policies without the need to trouble the British public with the burden of making a choice.
Any suggestions for numbers 5 onwards?
Joe McGonagle, Stoke on Trent, UK
Funny I got it all right. Not a citizen yet still a polish immigrant since 2001.
Marek, Ealing,
I have no idea who composed the test ( probably an old boring conservative)
who's forgot is 2007 now not 1970 and should have a quick look at results achieved by Brit's ( education went wrong way didn't!!!???)
Kind regards.

Leszek, Bolton, Poland
I'm 40, English born and bred and only got 12 (50%) - how pathetic is this quiz.
How about questions regarding the drink drive limit (Lots of Polish getting arrested for this)
What benefits can you claim on arriving in the UK?
Do you need a licence for...etc.
If these are genuine questions then this is a PATHETIC quiz, unless of course it is designed to reduce the number of immigrants.
