Can you recommend a holiday destination where I could learn flamenco dancing? I like Seville, but Granada or any other Spanish city would also be of interest. Wendie Lovell, via e-mail
Times travel expert Julia Brookes responds: Taller Flamenco (00 34 954 56 42 34, www.tallerflamenco.com) runs week-long courses with two hours tuition each day for £190. It can also arrange accommodation in single or double rooms in flats in the city centre from about £100pp.
For a full-on week of flamenco, La Fuente flamenco school (00 34 639 821 236, www.flamencolafuente.com) in the village of Las Alpujarras in southern Spain, might suit you. Set up by two dancing partners, it offers classes for beginners and experienced dancers. Group sizes are never bigger than eight to allow for individual tuition.
There are local excursions and nights out at tapas bars. Packages also include learning Spanish, walking, riding or painting. Prices for a week start at about £475, excluding flights.
