Doncaster-based Prosper de Mulder is a waste food recycling specialist, collecting and processing more than 1m tonnes each year. In 2007-08, it made £41.2m profit on £183.4m sales. Owned by de Mulder, 65, and his family, the firm has a strong balance sheet with more than £88m net assets and is worth £120m. We add £10m for past dividends and for the separate Frazer (Butchers) operation.
