Pop star Martin, 31, and his actress wife Paltrow, 35, are at the very top of the music and film world. As vocalist and songwriter with Coldplay, Martin leads the most commercially successful rock band to have emerged in the UK this decade. They have made three hugely successful albums, with the fourth due for release this year, and earned substantial revenue for touring worldwide. We estimate Martin’s wealth at £30m. He and Paltrow, whose films include Shakespeare in Love, Emma and Sliding Doors, married in 2003. Since then her movie career has taken somewhat of a back seat to her family commitments as a mother to their two children, but she still acts and models for companies such as Estée Lauder. Between them Paltrow and Martin have several homes, including one in London.
