Al-Tajir, 76, owns mineral water firm Highland Spring, which made a record £4.1m profit on £54.2m sales in 2006. A former ambassador for the United Arab Emirates, al-Tajir spends much of his time at his opulent London home and his 18,000-acre Perthshire estate. He has a sizeable property portfolio and interests in metal trading, oil and gas. We stick to last year’s valuation.
