Sales at Tetra Laval rose by more than 5% to £8.2 billion in 2006 as the packaging group expanded in Russia and China. Kirsten, 55, and brother Jorn, 48, who live in Britain and are on the firm’s board, are two of the three children of the late Gad Rausing, its co-founder. Jorn owns a 7% stake in Ocado, the online retailer. The family’s Tetra Laval stake is valued at £7 billion. We ascribe half that to Kirsten and Jorn.
