When the Hinduja Group celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2014, it is estimated that £25 billion will have been pumped into the Indian economy via investments in industry or infrastructure projects. Such huge amounts do not faze the Hinduja brothers, whose father, Parmanand, built a formidable business empire. The four sons now run it and Sri, 72, and Gopi, 68, above, are based in London. The Hinduja property portfolio in India is growing with plans to develop sites in Bangalore and Hyderabad, each valued at about £2 billion. The brothers have substantial assets in the Middle East and Europe .
