The Austin family has cut its links with the Liverpool-based Ethel Austin fashion chain, having netted £9m from selling its last 7.5% stake in 2005. The family, represented by Prescott, 56, initially sold the business for £55m in 2002. We can see two Ethel Austin property companies with £177m of net assets in 2006. We value the family at £204m.
