Simon, 58, took his Monsoon fashion chain off the stock market last autumn. His bid for the 25% he did not own was accepted and the 858-store London business was valued at £755m. We put Simon’s 75.5% stake, before he bought out the shareholders, at £570m. He has a large art collection and homes in London and Ibiza.
