Altium appointments
Altium has appointed Chloe Ponsonby to its corporate broking team. Ms Ponsonby previously worked at Daniel Stewart and Jupiter Asset Management. The investment banking group has also announced that it is to appoint Craig Leppard as its head of market-making from January 1. Mr Leppard was previously head of market-making at Numis Securities.
Partner at Duke Street
Duke Street, the private equity group, has appointed Miles Cresswell-Turner as a partner specialising in financial services. Mr Cresswell-Turner has previously worked for Palamon Capital Partners, HSBC Investment Management and Bankers Trust.
Bank air defence role
Phillip Roberts moves from the Royal Bank of Scotland to Lloyds TSB Corporate Asset Finance. Mr Roberts, who trained as an aeronautical engineer, will be a director with responsibility for the aerospace and defence sector.
Website financial services
The price comparison website moneysupermarket.com has appointed Peter Plumb as managing director of financial services. He will be responsible for the financial services businesses and the website’s international operations.

Brewin Dolphin Investment Banking has announced a series of management promotions including: Jamie Cumming to deputy head of investment banking; Nick Owen to head of corporate broking; Michael Parkinson to head of research; and David Green to head of sales and trading.

Kevin Dickens, the managing partner of the Cheshire-based chartered accountants Howard Worth, has been elected president of UK200Group.
