Aimed at: Experienced managers who are being prepared for more strategic roles in succession plans and need some practical training and who also focus on people as a key aspect of their role. The module can be taken as a stand-alone or as an extension of the school’s Programme for High-value Managers.

What you learn: To reflect on your own style of management and gain some principles of occupational psychology. Topics covered include psychometric testing, maintaining motivation, learning from experience and managing change and stress.

Aimed at: Line managers who have to provide coaching as part of their work. This conference dovetails with a new book, Making Coaching Work by David Clutterbuck and David Megginson.

What you learn: To address individual weaknesses and potential in your staff; to make sure that staff have the skills to fulfil their role and that they have opportunities to progress.
