Let me guess: men have to lose the chest-beating bellow while women should learn how to climb their own vines? Not exactly. Katz argues that men and women need to adapt their styles so that they can work together better, that’s true, but she also claims that you don’t have to be male to be Tarzan or female to be Jane. Apparently the business world is full of Tarzanes and Jazans, who happily blend male and female styles.

Does it advocate wearing a loincloth in the office? Not directly, although Katz does endorse the power of one man’s socks. Apparently the bright red toe warmers regularly worn by Dyfrig James, a businessman, characterise his personal brand.
