Attend a special evening hosted by Mike Atherton
One of the most important events in our working lives is being interviewed for a job. Needless to say, if non-verbal communication makes up 90 per cent of the message it would be useful to have some tips.
The key point about being interviewed is that the interviewee should come across as confident without being arrogant, at ease without being too relaxed, and create some form of rapport with the interviewer.
In today's video we will look at some body language do's and dont's.
Tomorrow, in our final video in the series, we will explore how the "push" or "pull" approach can help when negotiating a pay rise or promotion.
To purchase a copy of Instant Manager: Body Language by Geoff Ribbens and Greg Whitear at the special price of £6.99 (RRP: £8.99), go to www.pressoffers.co.uk/thetimes. Postage and packing is free.
