Big Brother couple Mario Marconi and Lisa Appleton have had their first major argument since entering the house.
Bodybuilder Mario berated Lisa for working too hard in the kitchen, branding her "Mrs Scrubber".
The 43-year-old from Warrington told his girlfriend of three years: "People aren't going to wash up or clean up because they think you are mug enough to do it."
"It grieves me to see you, my partner, come in here slaving over a kitchen," he added.
"What have you learnt Lisa? Come in here to be Mrs Scrubber."
Mario, who fancies himself as a Sylvester Stallone look-a-like, told Lisa: "You need to chat more, you've gone very quiet if you ask me."
"You're trying to please everyone," he continued, "you need to assert yourself."
Sales rep Lisa, who says she is always told she should be a model, quietly sipped a mug of tea for much of Mario’s speech before responding: "That's how I am though."
The argument came after an eventful week on the Channel 4 reailty show. On Friday, Jennifer Clark, who was at the centre of a love triangle, was evicted and three new contestants were sent into the house.
The new arrivals – all women – have altered the mood in the house, with Mohamed Mohamed summing up the feelings of the male housemates when he told Big Brother: "Thanks for the chicks".
"I think that changed the dynamic of the group, and it brought everyone together and made everyone liven up".
He added: "Dale, me, Rex and Darnell are very happy that we have some female companions in that area.
But 24 hours after Sara Folino, Belinda Harris-Reid and Maysoon Shaladi entered the house, the contestants were evacuated following a bomb scare.
A man contacted the show's base at Elstree Studios, Hertfordshire, claiming a bomb was nearby. Programme makers cut the live feed and the 15 contestants were woken and moved to a safe location.
After a hoax was confirmed, the contestants returned to the house.
